About Meert Tree Farm
Meert Tree Farm was founded in Oakville by Domien Meert and his father in 1963 on 6 acres of land. Initially, the farm was only advertised by word of mouth throughout the local community. Domien, his wife, Eileen, and their 6 children eventually outgrew that location, and they expanded to 150 acres in Festus in 1980 after interest grew exponentially. In 2003, the Meerts closed the Oakville farm and began their new adventure at the Festus location.

Sadly, Domien Meert passed away in November 2016, with Eileen following in June of 2023. Their daughter, Jennifer, now runs the day-to-day operations of the farm along with the help of her siblings and Domien & Eileen's grandchildren.
